We all need to devote all of our efforts to re-electing President Obama and supporting all of our Democratic candidates in their upcoming campaigns. The Republican candidates along with an improving economy are providing us with opportunities for Democrats to be elected to a number of offices.
We have a number of activities coming up that will require our member’s participation that will aid our efforts in having a successful 2012 campaign...
There is
a daily need at Tim’s Pontiac office for volunteers every day for phone calls, and folding and stuffing mail. Tim’s campaign office is at 18 W. Lawrence St, Pontiac (south of M-59 off of Saginaw Street in downtown Pontiac. The office is open from 9am to 9pm Monday through Thursday, 9am to 7 pm on Friday and 11:00am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 11:30 AM, Women’s Democratic Club of Rochester February Meeting at the Rochester Community House, 816 Ludlow, Rochester. Plans for the Eleanor Roosevelt Dinner will be discussed.
On
Saturday, March 10, 2012, The Michigan Democratic Party will hold an
Endorsement Convention at Cobo Center in Detroit. Delegates will endorse three
candidates for the Michigan Supreme Court and eight candidates for statewide
Education Boards.
In order to vote at this convention, your MDP membership must be current as of Thursday, February 9, 2012. Please join the MDP or renew your membership today to ensure you receive your membership card in time for the convention.
Saturday, May 5, 2012, The Michigan Democratic Party will hold the Michigan Presidential Democratic Caucus. Per State Party Guidelines, Caucuses will begin at 11 am EDT. Location for Rochester Area Caucus to be announced.
